Lori

Lori is a busy wife and mother of four. Intrigued by the diversity of athletic and practical applications CrossFit has to offer, she became a certified instructor in 2012. Her motivation to teach and participate in the gym stems from an unyielding desire to stay in shape herself, as well as to assist others in achieving their lifestyle and fitness goals. She takes great joy and pride when others enjoy personal success in the CrossFit discipline.

Ryan

Ryan began doing CrossFit in 2011 with a few workouts at the fire station. He began to use CrossFit in his everyday life in late 2011 with CrossFit Heartland. As a Firefighter/Paramedic for Grand Island he wanted to increase his physical fitness, which he did! As a member of CrossFit Heartland he is not only surrounded by friends and family, but a huge supportive group that has the same overall goal for health and fitness. Ryan wanted a better understanding of CrossFit, so in September of 2012 he became a CF-L1 trainer.

Heather

Heather is an active mother and wife. She has a passion for fitness and staying is shape and has been hooked on CrossFit since she was introduced to her first WOD in September of 2011. It fueled her competitive nature and since that day is passionate about sharing the FUN of CrossFit with others. She enjoys helping fellow atheletes improve their self image and watching them realize what they are truly capable of doing, which prompted the desire to become a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer in September of 2012. Nothing excites her more than watching someone achieve something they have worked so hard to do, whether it's getting that first kipping pullup or a deadlift PR. She is extremely excited and humbled to have the opportunity to help coach the amazing individuals that make up the CrossFit Heartland community.

PICTURE TO COME
Sheree has been involved with CrossFit since August 2011 when the gym was in the Nissen’s garage.  Prior to CrossFit, Sheree worked out inconsistently and struggled to program her own workouts.  She dreaded exercising because she found treadmills and elipticals boring.  She also wasn’t seeing many results from weightlifting, besides the fact that she was intimidated by the weight room and was not always sure she was lifting correctly.  Her husband, Jared, introduced her to CrossFit in 2010.  Refreshed by the constant variance and challenges, she was soon hooked after a few WODs.  She enjoys being a part of helping people--no matter their age--develop a love for health and fitness as well as helping them become better than they were before.
